Raven on a Rooftop is the story of a social worker's three year stay in rural Alaska, also known as the Alaska bush. The book started as a collection of letters mailed and emailed to family and friends as a way to bridge the distance of more than 4,000 miles. The story is one of many "firsts" and adventures in a very different place - isolated, fascinating, austere, and challenging. It's a story of a world most will never see, let alone experience. Come with me and share a bit of my experience in the most unique of the 50 United States.
